On or about Friday, January 28th, 2022, around 5:00 in the evening, a serious two-vehicle accident left two individuals dead. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along State Highway 242 in Montgomery County, Texas.
Law enforcement officials from the area said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when a Jaguar passenger vehicle allegedly crossed over the center line of the roadway and struck a Scion in the oncoming lanes. Paramedics pronounced the drivers of both vehicles dead of their injuries at the scene of the accident. Officials reported the driver of the Jaguar may have been driving erratically in the moments before the crash.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
