On or about Tuesday, April 26th, 2022, around 7:31 in the evening, an accident between a pickup truck and a motorcycle claimed the lives of two individuals. Authorities from the DPS said the accident was reported along Highway 80 in Abilene, Texas.
Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when the motorcycle they were on and a pickup truck collided under unspecified circumstances along Highway 80. Paramedics pronounced two people dead of their injuries a short time after the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Loop 322.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
