Details:
On or about Saturday, June 11th, 2022, around 10:00 at night, a serious single-vehicle car accident left two individuals dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Homestead Road in Houston, Texas.
Officers from the Houston Police Department said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when the pickup truck they were in allegedly drove off the side of Homestead Road and crashed into a number of trees in a wooded patch a short distance off the roadway. Police believe the pickup may have been racing another vehicle in the moments before the accident. Paramedics pronounced two people dead of their injuries following the crash.
According to Google Maps, Homestead Road is on the northeast side of Houston.
Officials are still investigating the crash.
