Details:
On or about Sunday, December 5th, 2021, around 2:20 in the morning, a major chain-reaction accident with several alleged drunk drivers claimed the life of a 31-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman. Officers from the DPD said the accident was reported on the southbound side of North Central Expressway (Highway 75) near the exchange with Fitzhugh Avenue in Dallas, Texas.
Investigators from the Dallas Police Department have said an as-of-yet unidentified 31-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were killed when the vehicle they were in and four other cars collided in a chain-reaction collision on southbound North Central Expressway. Emergency responders pronounced the man and woman dead of their injuries at the scene of the collision. Officials have since charged another driver, identified by police as 31-year-old Marsalis Brown, with intoxication manslaughter in connection with the accident.
Two other drivers, identified as Jose Salazar-Reza and Grayson Tsai Meu Chong were cited with DWI after the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 5 miles north of downtown Dallas.
Officials are still working to pin down all the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
