Details:
On or about Wednesday, February 9th, 2022, around 11:00 in the morning, an accident between a log truck and an SUV left two individuals dead. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 287 and Farm-to-Market Road 256 just outside Woodville, Texas.
Investigators said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when the SUV they were in allegedly failed to yield at the intersection of Highway 287 and Farm-to-Market Road 256 when it collided with a log truck. Emergency responders pronounced the driver and passenger in the SUV dead of their injuries a short time after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about six miles northwest of Woodville.
Authorities are still investigating the collision.
