On or about Thursday, November 25th, 2021, around 12:00 in the morning, a serious suspected drunk driving accident between an SUV and a passenger vehicle left two people dead and sent a third to the hospital. Law enforcement representatives from the area said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Interstate 30 near the exchange with East Grand Avenue in Dallas, Texas.

Authorities said two as-of-unidentified individuals were killed, while a third person was injured when a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 39-year-old Travoris McFadden allegedly slammed into a Toyota Camry on eastbound I-30. Emergency responders pronounced two individuals dead at the scene, while paramedics transported one other person to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries stemming from the accident.

Police say Travoris McFadden currently faces two charges of intoxication manslaughter in connection with the accident.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident at I-30 and East Grand Avenue is in Old East Dallas.

Officials are still investigating the incident.
