Two men were killed and one critically injured in a workboat explosion while on the Taylor Bayou in J.D. Murphree Wildlife Refuge in Port Arthur, TX. First responders from the Port Arthur Fire Department say the accident took place around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
