Details:
On or about Monday, April 4th, 2022, around 11:00 in the morning, a serious accident between two tractor-trailers left two individuals dead. Deputies from the Butler County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported at the intersection of Southwest 150th Street and Santa Fe Lake Road in Walnut, Kansas.
Investigators from the Kansas State Police said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when the tractor-trailers they were driving collided when one of them allegedly failed to yield at the intersection of Southwest 150th Street and Santa Fe Lake Road. Emergency responders pronounced both truck drivers dead of their injuries a short time after the collision. Officials did not mention any other injuries stemming from the collision.
