Details:
On or about Thursday, February 25th, 2021. around 11:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left two people dead. State Patrol spokespeople said the accident happened along Highway 24 in Elbert County, Colorado.
Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said two as-of-yet unidentified people died when the car they were in and a tractor-trailer collided under unknown circumstances. Paramedics pronounced both occupants of the car dead of their injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer did not report injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident happened near the El Paso County line.
State and local law enforcement are investigating the accident.
