Details:
On or about Thursday, April 14th, 2022, around 2:53 in the morning, a major tractor-trailer accident left a driver and a Good Samaritan dead. Troopers from the FHP said the accident was reported along Highway 301 in Thonotosassa, Florida.
Authorities from the Florida Highway Patrol said two-as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly slammed into the scene of an accident where another individual was assisting. Emergency responders pronounced pronounced the driver of the vehicle, and the person helping at the scene, dead of their injuries a short time after the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the far northeast side of Tampa.
Officials are still examining the cause of the accident.
