On or about Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021, around 5:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer claimed the lives of two people. Troopers from the MSP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 71 and 190th Street just outside Wadena, Minnesota.
Minnesota State Patrol representatives said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when the car they were in and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances while driving at or near the intersection of 190th Street and Highway 71. Paramedics pronounced two people dead a short time after the accident, but it is not clear if they died at the scene or after being rushed to a nearby hospital.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance north of Wadena, which is about 153 miles northwest of Minneapolis.
