On or about Friday, October 30th, 2020, sometime before 2:00 in the morning, an accident between an 18-wheeler and a car claimed two lives. Authorities said the accident occurred on Interstate 65 in Davidson County, Tennessee.
Law enforcement representatives have said two as-of-yet unidentified people were killed when a car and an 18-wheeler collided, causing one of the vehicles to burst into flames. Two people were pronounced dead of their injuries at the scene, while a third was taken to the hospital in order to be treated for the burns they suffered.
Google Streetview shows Interstate 65 is ten lanes, with a tall concrete barrier dividing the north and southbound lanes of traffic. The accident was reported in the northern portion of Davidson County.
Authorities closed the roadway until the early morning hours to investigate the crash.
