Details:
On or about Saturday, December 18th, 2021, around 1:00 in the morning, a major accident between two tractor-trailers left two individuals dead. Representatives from the ISP said the accident was reported along the Indiana Toll Road just outside Elkhart in Elkhart County, Indiana.
Authorities from the Indiana State Police said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when the tractor-trailers they were driving collided under unknown conditions on the Indiana Toll Road. Emergency responders pronounced the drivers of both trucks dead of their injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated about a mile and a half west of ELkhart.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the accident.
