Details:
On or about Wednesday, October 6th, 2021, an accident between three tractor-trailers and several cars left two people dead. Officials from the Department of Transportation said the accident was reported along the westbound side of Interstate 10 just outside Casa Grande, Arizona.
Investigators from ADoT said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly veered over the center line of Interstate 10 and struck two 18-wheelers in the oncoming lanes. The driver of the truck that crossed over and the driver of one of the trucks that was hit were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 10 cuts east and west through Casa Grande, which is situated about 47 miles south of downtown Phoenix.
Police are still investigating.
