Details:
On or about Wednesday, July 6th, 2022, around 2:00 in the afternoon, a major accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left two people dead. Authorities from the FHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 75 in Gainesville, Florida.
Representatives from the Florida Highway Patrol said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when the vehicle they were in allegedly hit the back of a tractor-trailer that was parked along Interstate 75. Emergency responders pronounced both victims dead of their injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from mile marker 382.
Police are still looking into the cause of the accident.
