On or about Monday, January 17th, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left two individuals dead. Representatives from the FHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of State Road 71 and Stone Mill Creek Road in Gulf County, Florida.
Law enforcement officials said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck the pickup truck as they were making a left turn at the intersection of State Road 71 and Stone Mill Creek Road. Emergency responders pronounced the driver and passenger in the tractor-trailer dead of their injuries a short time after the collision.
According to Google Maps, Gulf County is about 106 miles southwest of Tallahassee.
