Details:
On or about Thursday, July 29th, 2021, around 3:12 in the afternoon, an accident between an SUV and a tractor-trailer left two people dead. Police officers said the accident was reported at the intersection of State Route 83 and West Smith Road in Medina County, Ohio.
Investigators said two as-of-yet unidentified people were killed when a tractor-trailer and an SUV collided at the intersection of West Smith Road and State Route 83 when one of them may have failed to yield. Paramedics pronounced the driver and passenger in the SUV dead of their injuries a short time after the collision.
According to Google Maps, State Route 83 runs north and south through Medina County, which is about 48 miles south of downtown Cleveland.
Police hope to release the findings of their investigation at a later date.
