Details:
On or about Tuesday, November 9th, 2021, around 7:40 in the morning, a major accident between a car and a tractor-trailer left two men dead. Representatives from the ISP said the accident was reported along State Road 39 in Clinton County, Indiana.
Troopers from the Indiana State Police said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when a car allegedly crossed over the center line of State Road 39 and crashed into a tractor-trailer in the oncoming lanes. After the initial collision, the tractor-trailer drove off the side of the road and crashed into a nearby residence a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the car and the driver of the tractor-trailer dead of their injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Clinton County is about 51 miles north of downtown Indianapolis.
Police are still investigating the accident.
