Details:
On or about Thursday, April 22nd, 2021, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident left two people dead. Deputies from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department said the accident happened along the New Jersey Turnpike in Robbinsville, New Jersey.
Police said two as-of-yet unidentified people were killed when the tractor-trailer they were in allegedly slammed into a bridge pillar when it drove out of the lanes of traffic. Emergency responders pronounced two occupants of the truck dead at the scene of the accident. Officers did not mention any other vehicles in their report.
According to Google Maps, the New Jersey Turnpike runs north and south through the southern edge of Robbinsville, which is situated on the east side of Trenton.
