On or about Tuesday, December 1st, 2020, an accident between a tractor-trailer, a dump truck, a motorcycle, and a pickup truck left two people dead. State Patrol said the accident happened along Highway 167 near Ellington Road in Pacific, Washington.

Authorities said a pickup truck was allegedly driving the wrong direction on Highway 167 when it struck the motorcycle, a dump truck, and an 18-wheeler. The driver of the motorcycle, as well as the wrong way driver were pronounced dead of their injuries after the accident.

Looking at Highway 167 on Google Maps shows it is four lanes, with a grassy median and a barrier dividing north and southbound traffic. The town of Pacific is located about 28 miles south of downtown Seattle.

The investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
