Details:
On or about Saturday, April 16th, 2022, around 8:00 at night, an accident between a train and a passenger vehicle left two individuals dead. Spokespeople from the HCSO said the accident was reported at a crossing along Beaumont Highway in Harris County, Texas.
Local law enforcement representatives said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when the vehicle they were in was allegedly hit by a train at a crossing in the 12900 block of Beaumont Highway. Emergency responders pronounced two individuals dead of their injuries a short time after the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the northeast side of Harris County.
Officials are still examining the cause of the accident.
