On or about Sunday, January 23rd, 2022, around 4:50 in the evening, a serious ATV accident left an unborn child dead and sent four individuals to the hospital. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported in the 4700 block of Providence Street in Houston, Texas.
Local law enforcement officials said an unborn child and four as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when an ATV with a pregnant woman as a passenger allegedly collided with a horse that was somehow connected to a second, reversing ATV. Both ATV drivers, the pregnant woman, and another individual were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance northeast of downtown Houston.
Police are still investigating the accident.
