On or about Monday, March 28th, 2022, a major single-vehicle car accident left a 47-year-old man dead. Representatives from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the northbound lanes of Highway 281 in San Antonio, Texas.
Officers from the San Antonio Police Department said 47-year-old Velton Maurice Washington was killed when the vehicle he was in crashed under unspecified circumstances along Highway 281. Paramedics pronounced Washington dead of his injuries a short time after the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their initial report on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the north side of San Antonio.
