On or about Tuesday, March 15th, 2022, around 7:38 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and an 18-wheeler sent a 52-year-old to the hospital. Troopers from the ISP said the accident was reported along Interstate 70 in Fayette County, Illinois.
Authorities from the Illinois State Police said 52-year-old Vera Stovall was injured when a tractor-trailer driven by Brian Hamilton allegedly struck Stovall’s 18-wheeler on the side of Interstate 70. Paramedics rushed Stovall to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity after the accident. Hamilton was unhurt in the collision.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 70 cuts east and west through Fayette County.
