Details:
On or about Friday, March 25th, 2022, around 2:20 in the morning a serious single-vehicle accident with an alleged drunk driver left one woman dead. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the 12500 block of Telge Road in Cypress, Texas.
Local law enforcement representatives said Veronica Yolanda Hernandez was killed when the vehicle she was in allegedly drove off the side of the roadway and slammed into a tree a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics pronounced Hernandez dead of her injuries a short time after the accident. Police identified the driver of the car as 26-year-old Arley Razo, who was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Officials have since charged Arley Razo with intoxication manslaughter in connection with the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 27 miles northwest of downtown Houston.
Police are still investigating the accident.
