On or about Thursday, December 2nd, 2021, around 5:25 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer claimed the life of a 24-year-old West Virginia man. Officials from the Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Cougar Trail Road in Pulaski County, Virginia.

Spokespeople from the Virginia State Police said 24-year-old Warren Croy was killed when the pickup truck he was driving and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down Cougar Trail Road. Officials said the accident appeared to be head-on, but did not elaborate further. Emergency responders pronounced Croy dead at the scene of the collision.

According to Google Maps, Cougar Trail Road winds north and south through Pulaski County, which is about 230 miles west of Richmond.

Police are still investigating the incident.
