On or about Tuesday, November 17th, 2020, around 12:34 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a construction worker left a 70-year-old man from Sac County hospitalized. Authorities said the accident happened in a construction zone on Interstate 29 near Glenwood in Mills County, Iowa.
Officers said 70-year-old William McBee was injuured when he was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer driven by Wayne Hansen. The tractor-trailer had allegedly entered a construction zone when it struck McBee as he tried to cross a lane of traffic. Paramedics transported McBee to University of Nebraska Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
