On or about Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, around 8:00 in the morning, a serious two-vehicle accident with a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left a 37-year-old Ravenden man dead. Troopers from the ASP said the accident was reported along Highway 90 in Randolph County, Arkansas.
Spokespeople from the Arkansas State Police said 37-year-old Wilbur “Brock” Wheeler was killed when the passenger vehicle he was driving allegedly veered over the center line of Highway 90 and struck a tractor-trailer in the oncoming lanes. Emergency responders pronounced Wheeler dead of his injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 90 cuts east and west through rural Randolph County.
State and local agencies responded to the scene to assist.
