Details:
On or about Wednesday, April 14th, 2021, around 11:57 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and three other vehicles sent two people to the hospital. Police said the accident happened at the intersection of Cypress Drive and Highway 210 in Baxter, Minnesota.
Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said 69-year-old William Abbott and 59-year-old Patricia Abbott were injured when their car was allegedly rear-ended by a tractor-trailer. The car was subsequently pushed into another nearby car and a pickup truck after the initial impact. William and Patricia Abbott were transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident happened not far from Brainerd, which is about 126 miles north of Minneapolis.
Police are still investigating the accident.
