On or about Thursday, February 18th, 2021, around 8:30 in the morning, a single-vehicle rollover accident left a man and a woman dead. Department of Public Safety Troopers said the accident happened along Highway 87 in Carlsbad, Texas.
Deputies from the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office said 84-year-old Williams West and 82-year-old Cheryl West were killed when the pickup they were in allegedly rolled in icy conditions. Police said the pickup truck was towing a trailer at the time of the accident. Williams and Cheryl West were pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.
According to Google Maps, Highway 87 runs north and south through Carlsbad, which is situated about 229 miles northwest of San Antonio.
