On or about Tuesday, November 16th, 2021, around 9:20 in the morning, a major accident between a tractor-trailer and an 18-wheeler sent one person to the hospital. Representatives from the MHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 269 at Highway 305 in DeSoto County, Mississippi.
Troopers from the Mississippi Highway Patrol said 41-year-old Willie Bell was injured when the tractor-trailer he was driving allegedly hit another semi truck at the exchange of I-269 and Highway 305. Paramedics transported Bell to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident. Police did not mention any other injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 269 runs east and west through DeSoto County, which is situated on the south of Memphis, Tennessee.
Authorities are still looking into the accident.
