On or about Wednesday, May 25th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, an accident between a pedestrian and a tractor-trailer left a 24-year-old man dead. Officials from the ASP said the accident was reported along Highway 25 in Marengo County, Alabama.
Representatives from the Alabama State Police said 24-year-old Willie Harris was killed when he was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer as he was walking alongside or tried to cross Highway 25. Paramedics pronounced Harris dead of his injuries when they arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 5 miles south of Faunsdale.
Authorities are still looking into the accident.
