On or about Friday, April 16th, 2021, around 10:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer, a box truck, and a pickup truck left one woman dead sent three men to the hospital. Deputies from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened along Highway 114 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said 44-year-old Yolanda Flores was killed when a box truck, a tractor-trailer, and a pickup truck collided in a chain-reaction that began under unspecified circumstances. Paramedics pronounced Flores dead a short time after the accident, while three other people were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Texas Motor Speedway, which is about 21 miles north of downtown Fort Worth.

Texas DPS and local law enforcement are investigating.
