Law enforcement representatives from the area said the accident was reported along Highway 21 in Escambia County, Alabama.
Police officers said 63-year-old James Millikan was killed when the pickup truck he was driving and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down Highway 21. Emergency responders pronounced Millikan dead of his injuries, while his passenger was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
