Six people were injured in a series of three collisions on Interstate 75 in Acworth, GA. Officials with the Georgia Department of Transportation say the initial accident occurred around 6:58 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

The first crash involved three passenger vehicles travelling in the left lane of the interstate. This collision caused traffic to stop suddenly, causing three tractor-trailers to collide, with debris from their crash leading to another accident. Authorities are investigating the cause of the initial collision.
