A 5-Year-Old Boy was killed after being struck by an allegedly intoxicated Lizbeth Samantha De La Cruz Gonzalez on Abram Road in Palmview, TX, on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. The Texas Department of Public Safety reports the collision took place around 8:50 p.m. when Lizbeth Samantha De La Cruz Gonzalez struck the boy. She has been charged with driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age and possession of a controlled substance. The 5-year-old boy passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025.
