Details:
On or about Monday, March 28th, 2022, around 9:15 at night, an accident between a cyclist and two passenger vehicles left a 62-year-old man dead. Investigators from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 12 not far from Highway 62 in Orange County, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives from the area said 62-year-old Earl Lee Gregg was killed when he was allegedly hit by two vehicles as he was riding his bike alongside or in the lanes of Highway 12. Emergency responders pronounced Gregg dead of his injuries a short time after they responded to the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about a mile east of Mauriceville.
Police are still investigating the accident.
