On or about Friday, April 22nd, 2022, around 8:05 in the morning, an accident between a motorcycle and a dump truck left a 38-year-old woman dead. Law enforcement spokespeople from the NCHP said the accident was reported along West Market Street in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Investigators from the North Carolina Highway Patrol said 38-year-old Alesia Robin Delos Reyes was killed when the motorcycle she was on was allegedly hit by a dump truck along West Market Street. Emergency responders pronounced Reyes dead of her injuries after the incident, but it is not immediately clear if she died at the scene, or if she succumbed to her injuries a short time after she was rushed to a nearby hospital.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the intersection with Thatcher Road.
Police are still investigating the collision.
