Details:
On or about Monday, October 19th, 2020, around 7:30 in the morning, a tractor-trailer hit-and-run resulted in the death of a 30-year-old woman. Officials said the accident happened on the southbound I-20 service road in Big Spring, Texas.
Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper said 30-year-old Cynthia Martinez was killed when she was allegedly hit by an 18-wheeler that subsequently fled the scene. Martinez was pronounced dead of her injuries at the scene of the accident.
Police have since arrested Glen Earl Wilson in connection with the incident. He currently faces a charge of Accident Involving Death.
Big Spring Police said Wilson was arrested on November 17th, 2020 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
State and local law enforcement assisted in the investigation.
