One man was killed and his passenger seriously injured after colliding with a semi-truck on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 near Selma, CA. California Highway Patrol states the accident happened at approximately 9:30 in foggy conditions, with the semi-truck dragging the pickup through the intersection, ejecting the driving and setting the pickup ablaze. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and the female passenger was removed by another motorist who was nearby. Investigators believe the fog reduced visibility to less than 100 feet.
