A semi-truck driver was injured after going off the side of Quartzville Road, near Sweet Home, OR, on Saturday, December 14, 2024. The United States Forest Service reports that the driver was using Google Maps for directions, and was subsequently sent down Quartzville Road, also known as Forest Service Road 11, where the accident occurred. The semi-truck was carrying a large shipment of pesticide, leading to the USFS closing the road for several months.
