Details:
On or about Saturday, January 23rd, 2021, around 3:10 in the afternoon, a collision between a tractor-trailer and an SUV left two individuals dead and sent two more to the hospital. Investigators from the area said the accident happened on the westbound side of Interstate 80 in Sarpy County, Nebraska.
Troopers from the State Police said 30-year-old David Hardy Jr and 30-year-old Sabrina Reynolds were killed when their GMC Envoy was hit by a tractor-trailer while driving down I-80. Hardy Jr. and Reynolds died of her injuries a short time after the accident. One other 26-year-old passenger was rushed to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, Sarpy County contains the lower half of the Omaha area.
Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene of the accident.
