Details:
On or about Monday, April 12th, 2021, an accident between an 18-wheeler and an SUV left one individual dead. Police said the accident happened along Highway 316 near 200th Street outside Goodhue in Dakota County, Minnesota.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Department said one as-of-yet unidentified person was killed when an SUV and a tractor-trailer collided under unknown circumstances. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the SUV dead a short time after the accident, but it is not immediately clear if they died at the scene or after being rushed to a nearby hospital. No other injuries were reported.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated about 63 miles southwest of downtown Minneapolis.
Officials are still examining the cause of the accident.
