Details:
On or about Friday, July 16th, 2021, around 3:17 in the afternoon, an accident between a dump truck and a motorcycle sent two people to the hospital. Authorities from the ASP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Bogard Road and North Caribou Street just outside Palmer, Alaska.
Authorities from the Alaska State Police said two as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a dump truck allegedly slammed into a motorcycle occupied by two people while making a turn at the intersection. Paramedics transported both victims to the hospital with serious injuries stemming from the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in the initial statement on the collision.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of North Caribou Street and Bogard Road is about 42 miles northwest of downtown Anchorage.
Officials hope to release the findings of their investigation as soon as they become available.
