On or about Wednesday, July 21st, 2021, sometime before 11:00 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer left two people dead and sent one person to the hospital. Troopers from the CSP said the accident was reported along Highway 14 in Weld County, Colorado.
Police said two as-of-yet unidentified people were killed when a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances. Both the driver and passenger in the pickup truck were pronounced dead with unknown injuries after the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer suffered injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, Highway 14 runs east and west through Weld County, which is situated on the east side of Fort Collins.
Investigators are still examining the cause of the crash.
