On or about Friday, August 6th, 2021, sometime before 9:00 in the morning, an accident between a garbage truck and a cement truck left one person injured. Law enforcement representatives said the accident was reported along Loop 202 near the exchange with Val Vista Drive in Phoenix, Arizona.
Arizona State Police said at least one individual was injured when a dump truck and a cement truck collided under unspecified circumstances while driving in the eastbound lanes of Loop 202. After the initial collision, both trucks rolled in the roadway. Paramedics treated at least one person for unspecified injuries following the incident. Officials did not specify which vehicle the victims were in at the time of the crash.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Loop 202 and Val Vista Drive is situated on the north end of the city.
