On or about Thursday, August 12th, 2021, around 1:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a tow truck, a towed vehicle, and several other cars sent six people to the hospital. Deputies from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along the northbound side of Interstate 35W in Fort Worth, Texas.
Department of Public Safety representatives said six as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a car allegedly broke free of the tow truck it was on and collided with an unspecified number of vehicles. Paramedics treated six people for unspecified injuries stemming from the accident, but did not specify which vehicles they were in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated not far from North Tarrant County Parkway.
Police are still investigating.
