Details:
On or about Monday, September 13th, 2021, an accident between a disabled tractor-trailer and a car killed a 24-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman. Authorities from the WSP said the accident was reported along the shoulder of Interstate 90 just outside Sparta in Monroe County, Wisconsin.
Wisconsin State Police said 24-year-old Jace Scholler and 27-year-old Hannah Hood were killed when the car they were in allegedly struck the back of a tractor-trailer that was disabled on the shoulder of the interstate. Hood and Scholler died of their injuries a short time after the collision. Police did not mention any other injuries following the incident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 90 runs east and west just south of Sparta, which is about 183 miles west of Milwaukee.
State Police assisted local authorities at the scene of the accident.
