Details:
On or about Thursday, October 8th, 2020 around 1:00 in the morning, an accident between a motorcycle and an 18-wheeler left one man dead. The accident happened on Interstate 69 near the exit for Castleton in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Metro police said that 62-year-old Neil Holbrook was killed when the motorcycle he was driving hit the back of a tractor-trailer that came to a stop in the lanes of traffic after experiencing a mechanical failure on I-69 in the northeast part of the city. Paramedics pronounced Holbrook dead at the scene when they arrived.
Police cited the as-of-yet unidentified 27-year-old truck driver for operating a vehicle with a disqualified commercial driver’s license.
Authorities hope to release more information about the accident in the coming days.
