Details:
On or about Monday, November 1st, 2021, around 12:45 in the morning, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer left one person dead and sent a 51-year-old man to the hospital. Officials from the OSHP said the accident was reported along the northbound side of Interstate 71 in Clinton County, Ohio.
Authorities said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed, while 51-year-old Anthony Sisk was injured when a car allegedly struck a tractor-trailer head-on while driving south in the northbound lanes of I-71. Paramedics pronounced the driver of the car dead after the accident, while Sisk, who was driving the tractor-trailer, was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 71 runs north and south through the northwest corner of Clinton County, which is about 53 miles northeast of downtown Cincinnati.
Multiple agencies responded to assist at the scene of the accident.
